What do I need in order to have an Axxess ADSL account?

Firstly, you will need a Telkom telephone line which has been upgraded to an ADSL line. You can order your ADSL line through us via our website. Once you have your ADSL line activated, you will then just need an ADSL router which you can purchase at almost any computer store.

Will bandwidth I don't use carry over to the next month?

If you are using a Prepaid account, the bandwidth will rollover for 3 years or until it is used up, whichever comes first. The monthly billed accounts unused bandwidth does not rollover to the following month.

How do I find my Customer Control Panel log in details?

You can contact us via our call centre (0861 300 900) or send us an e-mail (support@adsl.co.za) and we can send you your log in details, please keep in mind that we will need to verify who we are speaking to, so keep your I.D. book and/or banking details handy.

Will I be billed every month on the same day that I started my account?

The billing period for all of our accounts are from the 1st day of the month to the last, even if you start your account on the last day of the month, you will be billed the full amount upon activation, and once again the full amount on the 1st day of the following month. If you are in need of bandwidth at the end of the month, you should take a look at our Prepaid accounts.

How long will it take to activate my new account?

For our ADSL accounts, it will depend entirely on the method of payment, if you are paying via credit card, you can have your account activated immediately, if you pay via EFT (electronic funds transfer), you will need to send through the proof of payment to (payments@adsl.co.za), once we receive it, we will activate your account for you, if you would like to set up a debit order you will need to make the first payment via EFT or credit card, there after we will charge your debit account.

Can I move my ADSL line over to Axxess?

Yes, all you will need to do is apply for an ADSL line from your Customer Control Panel if you are an existing customer or from our website if you are a new customer and select the option for "Transfer". Please keep in mind that you will still need to pay Telkom for the telephone line rental and calls, as we can only take over the ADSL portion.

Failure to do so might cause a delay in activation or re-activation of your service(s).
Don't set up Axxess as a private beneficiary. It is a bank approved beneficiary.
